Join Us for "A Walk In The Park"

Join Us for "A Walk In The Park" and help Cure Kids Cancer
This September, Six Flags Friends, the philanthropic arm of Six Flags Inc.,
and Cure Kids Cancer will join forces to raise public awareness and funding for childhood cancers.

"A Walk In The Park" will commence behind a backdrop of some of the world’s highest coaster landscapes as we encourage neighborhoods across the United States to join forces to take strides to help children suffering from cancer. Together as a network of 12 Six Flags communities, we can truly make a difference, but we need your help to reach our goal of raising $1 million dollars.

Please join us as we walk in hope for the tens of thousands of children afflicted with pediatric cancers.

About The Walk

On September 6th and 7th, 2008, twelve Six Flags locations across the United States will be hosting “A Walk In The Park” events to raise funds in support of Cure Kids Cancer. Through these walks we hope to drive awareness for this vital cause while helping to provide the resources necessary for pediatric cancer patients to receive world-class treatment close to home. Together as a network of Six Flags Friends, we will walk to create a world as refreshing and carefree as “A Walk In The Park” for children everywhere.

Participants will enjoy a fun, family-friendly day filled with entertainment, refreshments and activities people of all ages can enjoy.

Each participant is asked to pay a $25 registration fee to help cover the costs of staging the event, and will receive breakfast, a gift bag, a Cure Kids Cancer souvenir wristband and the ability to purchase discounted admissions ticket to enjoy the Six Flags rides and activities.
